The Climate Book Review
The Climate Book Review is a radio show and podcast featuring book reviews, author interviews, and reading lists for fiction, nonfiction, and poetry with climate themes.
Show Format
Each episode of The Climate Book Review follows a simple four-part format.
Welcome
Our host, Treesong, welcomes the listener to The Climate Book Review.
Climate Book of the Week
Treesong introduces the Climate Book of the Week.
If the author of the book is available for an interview, Treesong interviews them about the book itself and how it relates to the climate crisis and the movement for climate justice.
If the author of the book isn’t doing an interview at this time, Treesong reviews the book and/or reads an excerpt from another author’s review of the book. They may feature the book again in a future episode if the author is willing to do an interview about it.
Climate Reading List of the Week
Treesong introduces the Climate Reading List of the Week.
Each week’s reading list explores a specific theme or topic such as climate justice, renewable energy, children’s books about climate change, etc. Treesong shares the book titles, descriptions, and any additional commentary they may have on the books and list.
Farewell
Treesong says farewell to the listener, gives thanks to the people who made it possible, and shares any additional parting information that may help you get the most out of this week’s episode.
